Hello, my name is Sommer Amanda Kelly, Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1994. 

 My greatest passion has always been working with kids, whether baby sitting or volunteering through church, I realized I wanted to and further my experience as an assistant instructor at a day care service for 4 years, prior to the pandemic. In that daycare I worked within the Milwaukee Parkside School of the Arts taking care of the preschoolers all day, and having the older children join in for their after-school program for those 4 years. Dealing with all age groups from 3 years old to elementary, we provided entertainment and education in these programs and our services would incorporate the children into a God honoring safe playful learning environment. 

 When many daycares were closing due to the pandemic, that is when I took the initiative in provide my nurturing abilities and utilizing my talents in caring. I got the idea from the "Start Your Preschool" book, written by Joy Anderson, and that is where the preschool part came from. Yet I didn't want it to be just for preschooler's. I also wanted to make a program for older kids so they too could have a fun experience in art activities that they can do in the safety of their homes, just like preschooler's. This is what Young Lives Art Center Online is for, a place where preschoolers and older kids can grow, learn more about art, their faith and enjoy interacting with each other while growing to their full potential. I educated myself on her step by step process describing in depth how to plan, organize, and provide a sustainable income from home, all while incorporating my passion for helping kids develop in their education and teaching them the life skills they would learn in school, from home!
